After more than 40 years as an executive chef, Fred Tauro found that one recipe kept bringing people back: his cheesecake.

What began with a much-loved plain cheesecake grew into Tauro’s NY Style Cheesecakes, a local business in New Fairfield, Connecticut. Encouraged by the response to his recipe, Fred turned a favorite dessert into a new chapter.

Today, the original is joined by pumpkin, blueberry, raspberry, pistachio, Oreo, and more. The flavor list keeps growing; the person behind it is still Fred.
